Hi Imrose, there is not only a specific method as far as I know. Generally we detect some node histories and simply substract their displacement histories from each other. But if there is a more proper method I dont know about that.

I think subtracting displacement histories can be a good (enough for me) way to calculate the deformation. OK, let me try this - if I face problem to do this, I will let you know.

If I choose 'Part' displacement in X- Direction, is it indicates the ultimate deformation of the Specimen of SHPB ?
