A step by step clarification of how to accomplish finding the coordinates before and after the simulation run would help a lot. Any links to other sources or tutorial would also be helpful.
In my view, first of all you should make node on specific parts (hard keypoint) which you want to obtain your vector. After FEM analysis the displacement of the node is obtained.
Then you have the displacement of the node before and after applying load, with these data you can obtain the angle between two vectors.
Are you suggesting to create a probe of displacement of the specific point defined earlier and then from there determining the angle?
I was more looking forward to whether there is a way to find the co-ordinates of points before and after the changes directly?
