We wish to recover cells from a brain tumor specimen that were frozen at the time of surgery and wonder if someone has a suggestion on a protocol.
I am sorry, but there are no viable cells on the frozen tissue. Next time you should get the cells before. You should follow a cell disgregation protocol (mechanic, trypsin, DNAse, etc) for brain.
