hi , I am solving fluent tutorial related to particle laden flow which has some UDF function. when I load this file I get error. Please help me to solve this problem

The UDF library you are trying to load (C:\Users\Somanath\Desktop\Double shear layer\Case and data and compiled UDF\libudf\src\libudf) is not compiled for 2d on the current platform (win64).
The system cannot find the file specified.

Hello Somanath, I do not know what i your OS, but if you are getting troubles, probably is Windows. here you can find a well described procedure to configure FLuent to compile and execute your UDF.

Hi Somnath, attaching UDF should not be a problem. go through the tutorials provided with ANSYS documents or send me your email ID, I will send u the files...whom r u working with at BITS PIlani ?...I am alumni of this university.

Remember: at all cases hook your UDF using compiled and not interpreted

You can have problems with the compiler. Make sure that your Fluent is installed with all the additional packages such as the compilers.

Hi Somanath, I had the same problem earlier and it was a license and compiler issue. When the IT guy installed ANSYS-Fluent on my computer, he installed the license but he skipped couple of authorizations which caused problems when I tried attaching the UDF other than "Compiled".
Try putting your udf in a directory which has no space in name. Like c:/documents and settings. This creates error. Try making it C:\Sample1
