How can a i assess or cuantify the damage that a bridge foundation has sufered, is there any study i can refer to on the topic.

For the 500+ piles i have supervised its constructions,we used the pile intergrity tests,a kind of sonic tests to find structural defects of the piles. I highly recommend it,for the tests.
Both ultra-sonic tests and core penetration tests are able to test the structural integrity and strength level of the existing concrete foundation.
