For prestress hold analysis, in the 1st step, you will apply prestress

In the 2nd step, include this command in the boundary condition definition

*Boundary,type=fixed

You  have include the above mentioned command only, But at the same time, don't apply any load

Nastran offers better prestress set up for your problem. 

I recommend you use truss element for tendon.

And embed that element in the concrete.

You can then exert prestress on the tendon as initial stress menu.

I was planning to model the tendon as rebar 

But will its be feasible to model tendon as 2D element and Concrete as 3D.

Will it represent the true picture of the experiment?

Dear Prashant, for the numerical Modeling its an approch for the real picture even a simultaion is based on the approch , so try to get results close and quite good in agreement with the experiment. to finally say that your model is valid
