Hi everyone,
I am trying to perform a in vitro DICER assay to see if the RNAs that I am studying could be cleavage in to small RNA fragment. There might be many different fragments in my total RNA solution. Is there any good method for analysis different small RNA fragments in a total RNA solution? Thanks!

- Whilst I agree with the above comments, assuming you do mean nascent RNA fragments in solution, then I used to do this a few years back by running non denaturing acrylamide gels:
- Essentially acrylamide gels with 10% glycerol that you run at very low current for 3-5 hours
- Would you like me to send you my old SOP
- You will obviously need a method of detecting the RNA species: In my case we had fluorescent tags so we could fix and dry gel and then scan with a typhoon laser gel doc system
