How can I accelerate solidification of PLGA micropsheres using the solvent evaporation method W/O/W emulsion?

I want to accelerate the microsphere solidification to reduce the drug partitioning into the external aqueous phase and increase the encapsulation efficiency.

It can be performed by increasing the amount of external aqueous phase. Don't know what's the reason.
