I have just launched a test of sporulation of three different bacteria with several culture media in a shake flask experiments. I've recently consulted a publication entitled: "Enhanced Spore Production of Bacillus subtilis Grown in a Chemically Defined Medium" (2014) using the reed and meunch formula to calculate the percentage of spore and I would like to have more explanation about this methodology and the dilution to test or about spearman-karber method?
