I'm currently faced with analysing some working memory data collected using an EGI system (129 channels), however, the dataset has previously been described as being difficult to accurately estimate gamma oscillations.
The pre-processing pipeline implemented is fairly standard, removing ocular and motion artefacts, as well as line noise, whilst filtering with quite a large bandpass (0.1 to 100Hz).
Previous estimation of gamma activity was performed using morlet wavelets. Does anybody have any experience with trying to estimate accurate activity from lower amplitude oscillations which might be applicable here?
