I keep asking myself this question whenever someone comes up with 'new' technology that will 'revolutionise' our teaching and learning. Every piece of technology has to be measures according to the benefits it brings to education, not the other way round. Very few technologies were developed with education in mind and the list endless: the computer, Internet, social media, AI, digital screens etc. were not invented for education but were adopted by education. This is the starting point but unfortunately many miss this simple but crucial point when evaluating the benefits of technology to education.
