Na/k acetate is used to neutralize the nucleic acid following alkaline lysis where Na/K binds with the nucleic acid followed by alcohol precipitation.
Na/k exist with DNA following elution or we get purified DNA alone?
Hello,
While you doing alcohol precipitation DNA get precipitate, Remaining other Na/K ions dissolved in alcohol. Finally you will get purified DNA
I think you end up with the Na+ or K+ salt of DNA, not the free acid.
I have got two different comments from two researchers. is there anyone who help me to draw a conclusion?
If the detection range is in ng/ml but the reference range is in ug/ml for a molecule or protein in serum or plasma .how to dilute and what is the initial volume to be taken for quantitative analysis
