I am looking for data about the expression of homeobox genes, namely HOXC6, in tumor spheroids including spheres formed by cancer stem cells and in architectural patterns of tumor cells in breast cancer. I have analyzed a lot of literature data (search in Google Scholar), but I did not find anything. So, I would be grateful if could give links, papers etc. regarding this question.

Below, all that I found:

"Deregulation of signaling pathways, such as p53/p21, Notch, Sonic hedgehog (Shh) Wnt/-catenin, Bmi-1 and Hox gene family products, can lead to transformation of SCs into CSCs",

"Among the stem-cell genes, HOXA10 and HOXC6, were the most up-regulated genes in nonresponders to chemotherapy of glioblastoma",

"HOXC6, a critical player in mammary gland development and milk production",

"HOXC6 regulates various genes including CD44 that are important for prostate branching morphogenesis and bone metastasis of prostate cancer".

Also, considering the histology of breast tumor (paper "Differential Mammary Morphogenesis Along the Anteroposterior Axis in Hoxc6 Gene Targeted Mice"), I found that HOXC6+ cells are disposed to form more organized architectural patterns than HOXC6- cells.
