In the CST kit they have an anti-histone antibody and include primers for RPL30 as a positive control (both mouse and Human). This could be a good starting point for you. They do not give you the sequence of the primers - but these you could design yourself. The Histone antibody they use is also listed in the spec sheet:

Note that this will give you a very strong signal if you are going to do ChIP-qPCR. If you are planning to do ChIP -seq then consider the ChIPmentation protocol. We use this in our lab and it works very well. You can use this protocol as well for ChIP-qPCR. We have found that this protocol works better than the micrococcal nuclease method which can sometimes lead to over digested DNA>

Hi Anna,

It depends on the purpose of the ChIP experiment. Generally, if for actively transcribed regions an antibody for RNA pol II would be a good positive control, along with primers to GAPDH or other housekeeping gene. For ChIP with c-jun, I would suggest to look at papers from other groups that may have successfully ChIPed c-jun from human cells, such as the following paper: http://molpharm.aspetjournals.org/content/73/1/128.
