It is well known that the presentation of a doctoral dissertation in the field of organizational behavior must be linked to the existence of the problem "research problem". if There was no problem?
A research problem is a statement about an area of concern, a condition to be improved, a difficulty to be eliminated, or a troubling question that exists in scholarly literature, in theory, or in practice that points to the need for meaningful understanding and deliberate investigation.
I can think of hundreds of problems out there for which answers or solutions are needed. Reading any good research paper will quickly reveal a range of problems...
If there is no problem, then why are you doing the dissertation at all? A dissertation must address a gap which embodies a problem in the field that has not been fully explored or some of it's aspects are still not completely understood or there are some mixed findings and you want to explain or add to the literature. It is weird that you are stating "if there was no problem".....Did you read the literature in OB? have you looked at research papers pertaining to your area of interest? You MUST do that before you claim either a gap or a so called "NO PROBLEM"..Good luck!
In fact, there are hundreds of research problems, and good research papers may help. However, there may not be enough time for the researcher to get to these problems and identify them accurately.
