Basically, I'm studying on the reproductive structures of a cyanobacteria encrusting sponge, Terpios hoshinota in Malaysia. However, I'm quite new in this field and I need help from those who are familiar with sponges. I'm not sure what is this structure as I've found this in every month samples for 7 months. It has sort of envelope, and red pigments with hexagon or pentagon-bundle shaped on the inside part. Kindly have a look and I'm really appreciate for the helps!

Sorry, I´m not familiar with sponges. I work on cyanobacteria but based on the photos it´s impossible to see the details and to know about the red small structure. I wish you good luck. Célia Sant´Anna
Bacterial identification can be done by genotypic analysis method using PCR, to obtain species and strains, whereas if only information about the species is sufficient to use a penotive analysis through gram staining and biochemical test
