My experience as a Muslim who often traveled, there are some things that often become a problem. The first is the halal food, the difficulty in finding the direction of Qibla, and also the facilities to used water for ablution (in the countries that the majority of citizens are not Muslims). For countries with majority Muslim citizens, sometimes the problem is cleanliness. Furthermore, both Muslim countries or not, the problem of information is also an obstacle if they do not use the international language so that to ask about our needs as a Muslim was quite difficult.

I can conclude here that you are facing the problems of interviews with people who don't give cooperation and also difficulty to get historical database,isn't?

Thank you for sharing with us your experiences. In my opinion, to get the direction of Qibla would be helpful if you can use the compass or download the Qibla application in the smartphone. I do agree the cleanliness is one of the problem in most Muslim countries,including Malaysia. However,the respective stakeholders are putting various efforts to ensure the hygiene is always awake. In regards to citizens do not use international languages, I faced the same problem when I visited to France and Italy, it's quite difficult but we were also trying to learn their basic languages to avoid awkwardness. 

You mentioned that obtaining Halal food is one of the problem. I would like to know further, how you handle/solve this matter?

For the halal food, I always bring some food from my country that I called it 'emergency food'. If I want try the local food in that country, I always prepare to remember important words like pork or alcohol.

I hope it will not be a problem to promote Muslim tourism in Malaysia since it is a Muslim country. Even other countries also can promote the market without having any problem. Only thing is the necessity of good planning. If you try to promote without preparation  it will create problems definitely.
