A µ-CCHP (combined cooling, heat and power) generated electricity, heat and
now if I am using an absorption chiller then how much cooling energy or capacity can be produced from heat energy.
example if a 5 kW capacity of µ-CCHP, assuming produces 2 kW (electrical power), and 3 kW (thermal power)
Now If I am using a Abortion chiller how much cooling energy can be produced?
First of all, the thermal efficiency of a micro-CCHP is different from that of the absorption chiller system. Also, it also depends on whether the waste heat source is high-grade or low-grade source.
In general, the thermal efficiency of the absorption chiller system is lower than that of the micro-CCHP. Moreover, the efficiency of the chiller systems is measured by the so-called coefficient of performance (COP).

The absorption chiller works on heat energy but the performance depends on inlet water/steam temperature and the flow. you can find operating conditions and COP from manufacturer like YAZAKI.
