I have performed a cycloheximide treatment on HEK 293 cells (10 ug/ml CHX for 1 h, no FBS in the medium) and then I've performed a confocal immunofluorescence protocol. Nuclei are stained with Hoechst (I have same results after DAPI staining).

Have you ever seen something like that? I mean, I did not expect nuclear enlargement and the presence of so well-defined nucleoli (?)...

Can this be addressed only to the treatment itself?
