I purchased these kits to test Il-6, and others cytokines in mice lung.
This kit is usually used on serum, plasma and cell cultures supernatant but i want to use it on tissue homogenates (lung); there is many citations in which the authors are using it for tissue homogenates. I have no idea in which diluent (water or the standard diluent) i need to prepare my sample dilution. Could anyone help me?

Hi Yara, the tissue may homogenates with Saline or PBS, usually the cytokine is comparatively at a high level then serum, plasma. We regard it as a cell culture supernatant and dilution with standard diluent the procedure which is same to the standard samples, may it helps.
