If so, do you have a recommendation for an article or book that explains it simply? I am collecting Life History Calendar data at the monthly level and trying to do something other than count data to recognize the most common sequences of events. The event history analysis, from what I understand, is similar to that of survival analysis. If that is the case, all of my sample has experienced the same events, just at different times, and that would not work for a survival (or event history analysis).
Any help is much appreciated!

So if your individuals do not enter the risk population at the same, you have to considered a delayed-entry model, because the observation might be differ. STATA provide nice tools for delayed entry situation.
Thank you, I will look into that! I am still struggling with the analysis plan because I cannot do a survival analysis because all of my participants have experienced all of the events.
