I am trying to precipitate struvite (MgNH4PO4.6H2O) using aspen plus which is not available in aspen plus database. I gave some known parameters like MW, Bp, Enthalpy of formation, Gibbs free energy....but aspen plus asks for more and more missing parameters..wonder how many parameters does TDE NIST wants to define my component? In one word I want to define struvite in aspen plus..your small suggestion can be so much helpful in my research.

when you have less information then use aspen hysys because aspen plus need some extra information
thank you so much for your time and effort..... but the problem is i want struvite to get precipitated out..... so pseudocomponent cannot be used.... it should be in solid phase.... so far about hysys there are some inorganic components that doesnt let my common compounds to be inserted..... hope to get some more replies.... thank you
