Can anyone recommend an hepatocyte antibody for IHC that they have used on frozen human liver? There are markers that will stain hepatocytes and cholangiocytes, but I would like to stain only hepatocytes. I've tried a couple of markers that work beautifully on paraffin but no luck with the frozen tissue.

I suggest you choice Hepatocyte antigen (Hepa) which gives specificity for staining hepatocyte only, without stain biliary tract epithelial cells.

Hi Adam, Most antibodies to Hepatocyte Specific Antigen are raised against fixed liver cells suspensions and that is mentioned (e.g.as in Dako Clone OCH1E5 specification sheet).
I have found mouse-anti human antibody from LSBio (PathPlus Hepatocyte Specific Antibody Monoclonal IHC LS-B16183).
Application: IHC-P, IHC-F
Reactivity: Human
Format: Unconjugated, unmodified
Other formats: Ready-to-use
If you haven't tried it - maybe worth doing so, as it is covered by LSBio guarantee "...replaced or credited if doesn't meet defined specifications".
