I would like to isolate methylated DNA from plasma samples to measure a specific target by ddPCR and came across several kits involving two different processes that can efficiently do that (Using methyl-CpG-binding domain (MBD) proteins or The methylated DNA immunoprecipitation method (MeDIP). The literature, however, seems to disagree about which one is the best and which kit has the best recovery rate/ sensitivity/ specificity. Has anyone tried different kits and had real experience with them to say pros and cons?

Thanks in advance!
