I want to process protein microarray data through Invitrogen's prospector software, which currently only allows to load gpr files created when using Invitrogen's protoarray platform. I want to use microarrays from other manufacturers but process the data the same way as Protoarrays are done in Prospector. Any help is appreciated.
Are the .gal files similar? or are very different?. If they are similar is easy to proceed; just replace the missed ones in the gpr files; but however, if they are different, you have to take into consideration the slideyout of your arrays.
Our lab uses them for our own protein arrays. You just have to make the gal file in their format. Prospector is very stringent, and I prefer to use SAM (significance analysis of microarrays).
