Some pear fruit from Kurdistan of Iran are starting to feel soft at harvest time. Actually, they don't have ripping time. This pear genotype is called “Gende” in Kurdistan of Iran. The skin of fruit at harvest time is green but inner of fruit is soft like a decayed fruit.
I believe you are talking about the Pyrus pashia pear, which is best eaten when slightly decaying. It grows in mid-hill regions from the Caucasus to the Himalaya, between 750 and 2,600 metres above sea-level, also found in Afganistan, Iran and India.
Thank you Anu Makela for answering the question, but I think this is not completely the Pyrus pashia pear, because fruit of this pear is either unripe or completely decayed. People of the region don’t eat it. I will send the picture of the fruit of this pear genotype later

Might be this is the some of genotypes of Pyrus caucasica (there are a huge polimorphism in this population) - this is green from outside, even if is starting to ripe, however doe to high astringency it is not possible to eat...

Thank you Zviadi Bobokashvili for answering the question. This genotype is overspread only in a limited area of a village in Kurdistan of Iran. The pear trees are located in a narrow path between two hills. Almost only people of the region have access to them. I will send the picture of leave, fruit and the tree of this genotype as soon as possible.
