Hi! I'm trying to express some GST tagged proteins in yeast under galactose inducible promoter. Since the plasmid I'm using is not an overexpression plasmid, I'm doing anti-GST western blot to detect if the proteins are expressed upon addition of 2% galactose. While I could detect protein only when galactose is added, the band I'm seeing is around 25 KDa - which is the size of the GST tag alone. Any reason why I can't see the full protein?
