We use platinium for graphene growth in cvd. Platinium repeatedly can be used for growth process. After first growth and transferring graphene to another substrate, PMMA resudue left on platinium surface. How can we get rid of PMMA residue without damaging surface of platinium?

You could heat the samples to around 400°C for 30 min - 1 h in H gas flow for example. You should be able to get rid of the PMMA residues.

Acoding to this paper http://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlepdf/2011/ce/c1ce05714f graphene grows on Pt at 1000 C. No PMMA residue can survive this.
