Genomic database contains haploid or diploid sequences?
You might need to reconsider your the definition of genome and ploidy in organisms. But, actually, complete genome is the genetic material in an organism, nuclear or extra-nuclear. And ploidy works with just multiples of nuclear material.
Suppose, haploid genome size of one plant is 1200 mbp and diploid is 2400 mbp.
In this case, whether genome database will contain 1200 mbp or 2400 mbp sequences.
1200 mbp + extranuclear genetic material
