The learning dynamics of the Gen Z is definitely changing and I am sure as teachers/facilitators you are already feeling it. The MDHEA program of Symbiosis is something that will help us to understand this changing dynamics and help us orient towards the new paradigms.
Agree with Dintsis. They need to be given short duration lectures than long 3 hour lectures. The attention span of the Z-s much less compared to the previous generations.
What I am observing here is that Gen Z is very focused in all their learning and love e-learning. Perhaps more so than Gen Y. Have a look at this link that may be helpful. Let's appreciate the gen Z!
"Sixty-two percent of Gen Z want to own their own company instead of working for established brands, with 89% claiming that their free time already goes to cultivating productive skills and interests conducive to entrepreneurship or self-improvement; 51% are dabbling in graphic design, and 50% exploring video editing and production, as well as building apps... Gen Z is 85% more likely to visit YouTube than any other social media site." (They will learn a lot of science from Youtube.)
