As everyone knows the impact of Covid-19 on Education System in whole world. Mostly experts prefer the Online-Education/eLearning/Distance Learning to overcome this pandemic situation. I have a quick query....Will eLearning or ICT-based Education helpful for practical-based courses like Medical, Pharmacy, Civil, Dental instead of Traditional Education?

It seems to me that ICTs are useful in teaching these specialties, but there are studies such as medicine that it is impossible to replace the specialist's personal contact with patients. In the case of medicine, nothing can replace the doctor-patient relationship where the principles of Bioethics require treatments that are face-to-face. I can not imagine how in virtuality you can study medicine. Similarly, in the studies of the so-called dental sciences, it is almost impossible to teach procedures such as an alienation of teeth without the artifacts that are used to do it. Then teaching how to do a dental prosthesis is only in person. In Civil Engineering the same thing happens. I believe that ICTs are auxiliary means of teaching, no more than that, in my experience of working with doctors we have analyzed these issues on several occasions and have always reached the conclusions that I have just presented to you. Yes, it will, once the VR simulators thereto are developed. In fact, I have plans to develop some inventions of mine in those areas, but not for the near future.

Implementing virtual reality technology in educational courses, especially pharmacy, medical and nurse fields will change ineffective tiresome classroom teaching. In my opinion, listening to someone's lecture on a piece of mere knowledge is a waste of time. However, continuous problem-solving classes to foster critical thinking in students can be helpful. Dental Learning as process bassed on two phases, practical and thioritical, elearning might enrich the thiory part with alot of information but cant make the practical part reach the required acheavments.
As a dentist, knowlege should be supplemented by practice. Elearlning provides only theoretical knowlege.
