I want to form microgel on-chip with Alginate to cell incapsulate. firstly I want to form gel-droplet without cell by injection sodium alginate for disperse phase and oil+CaCl2 for continues phase in cross-junction microchannel. I have some problems as 1- I form 2%sodium alginate for disperse phase. but this becomes so viscose and injection with syringe pomp is difficult. 2- for forming CaCl2+oil solution, I solve CaCl2 in water and then try solve this with oil but

If the amount of water in the beginning to dissolve the CaCl2 is low, the CaCl2 will not dissolve well, and if it is high, dissolving that amount of water with oil will not.

I also used surfactant in oil+CaCl2 solution.
