Hi all,
Please I have a question about the pressure: I am working on combustion, and I want to study the effect of pressure in my geometry, I couldn't understand where sould I put the pressure for example: 2 bars for the fuel inlets (gas) and 1.4 bars for the air inlets,
I did these steps and I don't know if they are right or not, for that I need your suggestions, please!
1- I putted 1.4 in the operating pressure
2- and with the primary/ secondary air mass flows, i putted zero (0) in gauge pressure
3- and with the fuel mass flow, I putted 0.6 in gauge pressure
4- I chose outflow in the outlet
Please is this correct??

You can put 1.4 bar at the inlet which is standard pressure and the outlet puts pressure of 2 bar. you are using which software for simulation
Naseem Ahmad Thank you very much for your suggestion, I will try it. And I'm using ANSYS Fluent for the simulation.
Hi Sabrina,
As I know, the total pressure is the sum of gauge and operating pressure (see link below for more information). So, you should carefully set the operating pressure position, especially for low Mach number (see 2nd link). If, hou have doubt try by running calculations for other cases and be sure to verify your Mach number.
