Hi everyone. I observed fungal contamination on the surface of seeds after seed priming treatments. In brief, after sterilizing the seeds with sodium hypochlorite for 5 min, I put the seeds in priming solution in the optimum ratio. After priming, the seeds were rinsed and dried. However, ı have fungal contamination in Petri study or punch systems. So, if I repeat the sterilization before sowing, do the seeds expose any mechanical or biochemical damage? Is there any different recommendation? Best regards.
