Be humble, active listener, open to learn from others epsecially your seniors, read a lot, work both individually and within a team, and never ever give up on yourself; keep trying and give it your best!
@Irina Alexandrovna Chernikova : "Fight and seek, find and not give up!"
You forgot to mention that it is an English translation from Russian of the famous poem of Tatar poet Mussa Jalil, which he wrote while a Gestapo prisoner at the Moabite prison (if my recollection is correct). Indeed, it's a great poem:
The factors contributing to my success in research: seek right collaborators, always clarify expectations from and roles of collaborators, serve the research community through various roles regardless of personal gain and provide mentoring/support to junior researchers and colleagues.
All responses add value to the discussion thread. Just one thing for young researchers and not only; to be serious and scrutinize their reference sources.
.... to be curious, to see the unseen, to go through all the data, to be inspired, to be motivated, to discover your own series of truth and facts, to trust the instincts of own mind, to be ready for any surprises ....
As a Romanian poet once said, “The universe strains its efforts in every man”.
Always be open to continue learning. Be rigorous in the development of work. Listen and read to other researchers. Being willing to collaborate with other researchers in the same field or in other areas where the research carried out by each one can converge, which will undoubtedly produce great progress in certain lines of research. Finally, have ethics as a golden rule in research.
My advice to new researchers is. Do excellent research and value during several years, better than dozens of research during the same period with hostile ideas and low scientific value.

Advice for new scientific researchers "Try to follow the answers given in this discussion". and exactly I also doing this. One point I may add- select one particular research field/topic as quickly as possible and do Phd on that topic asap.
I think researchers should trust their knowledge and research. Know when to listen to others and when to rely on yourself. You, as the researcher has spent countless days/years researching your idea. You know what can be done so be guided by your research ... and not the naysayers since they can hold you back.
Be positive, sincere, ethical and honest in your research work. Planning and hard work is essential. Dream for innovative ideas and thoughts. Achieve your goals and turn dreams to reality.
In virtually any field of (at least natural sciences) research, there are undetected niches. Take your time - find such a niche and you'll be the best.
Remind yourself of the goal and desired end. Relax when you are exhausted. You are not alone, but many have gone through your same position. You search to learn, research what you love, and be positive with yourself which increases your productivity and motivation .
Try to learn something from every person you meet.
At the same time understand that every person, organization or even the whole world are far from perfect. There always be a lot of absurd, hype and other bad thing happening - don't concentrate on that, stay honest and dedicated no matter what you face, find your way through or around. For any resource you get, even a small one - try to invest in personal development as a priority.
Being young is the greatest value. The decisions made about life at early stage are going to have the most impact. However, at the same time you have the least experience and knowledge. The advices from older people cannot substitute it: everyone is very different and the world is rapidly changing. So you face what is called 'transcendental' in philosophical terms : you have to give an answer from the point of future yourself.
No matter how dedicated you are to your profession, it never going to substitute you the whole life. So think about family, love, having joy.
The good habit would be to write so me dairy - beside just technical use of documenting the ideas, designs and results you may see it as a report you write to future yourself. That future yourself will be somehow more experienced, knowledgeable, wiser but will not have so many years ahead. So try to see every day from point of older yourself, the main question being - did I just waste the time that day?
We do not always obtain interesting and expected research results from conducted research. But you can't give up. You need to be consistent in your research. It is important to remember that research and teaching activities are conducted in accordance with the principles of ethics, high standards of professionalism and social responsibility.
My advice is ,before going into research, make sure you are really passionate about it. Treat it as the food you need to survive. Then, get registered on researchers platform where you can meet and interact with people of like passion.
