How to avoid the risk of self-plagiarism when we want to show and discus publicly (at the conference) results of our findings, before publishing in highly ranked journals.
I have an impression that limiting "previous publication" in highly ranked journals brings us to the situation when the reviewer is the first and only person to evaluate somebody's results or findings before their publication (or rejecting).
We have to be updated and in touch with the latest versions of knowledge and seeking for virgin findings sir.
In general, the work of a researcher consists in treating a given problematic, he begins by modelling his system to study after he defines a methodology, once he manages to have concrete results and make contributions, he can publish his work in a scientific journal. before publishing a journal paper it can participate in a conference by intermediate works without presenting the final contribution (for example it can publish the modelisation results of the system but not the proposed solution).
