Most of the international conference fees are 10/20 times higher than the minimum wage in Sri Lanka. Considering such, many students do not publish their findings just because the fees are too much and receiving a travel grant is also competitive. So I would like to know if are there any Free or budget research conferences for engineering students to publish their work.

Anton Vrdoljak We published a paper in above mentioned symposium and ended up paying much more than the website state. After the acceptance of the paper, we got to know that all authors need to be students in order to go for a lesser payment. In our case it's not so we ended up paying nearly 170EUR.
The worst part is by mistake we made the payment two times. This means the payment was made twice and they haven't refunded the additional payment that we have made too.
