I have attached two diagrams, one is for an extra-fine mesh and the other is for an extremely fine mesh. I am using PZT-4D and my suspended particles are polystyrene particles in water.
The resonant frequency for PZT-4D in the extra-fine mesh is 1.7 MHz while the resonant frequency for PZT-4D in the extremely fine mesh is 2 MHz. Why is that?
The diagram that shows a perfect standing wave field is the one that has an extremely fine mesh. The other that doesn't have a perfect standing wave is the one that has an extra fine mesh.
