I am thankful to Péter Gyula for providing a valuable suggestion that worked like a miracle in my last experiment.

This time my question is I have used Boston Biproducts's RIPA Buffer (BP-115) which has no EDTA in it. We used this RIPA buffer for preparing TCL.

If I use 1 mM EDTA into TCL, will there be any effect in result (Like less band shifting etc.)?
