I guess I need the responses of more experienced peer reviewers who tried reviewing under WOS indexed journals. I cannot name the journal in particular.
Certificates of peer review are not always given to peer reviewers for journals under Web of Science indexing. The decision to provide certificates of peer review is at the discretion of the individual journals or publishers, and may vary from journal to journal.
Additionally, the frequency of certificate issuance may also vary depending on the journal's policy. Some journals may issue certificates on an annual basis for all reviewers who have contributed over the course of the year, while others may issue certificates only for specific articles or issues.
@Ajit Singh Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience. But I just have further question, for journals who do not issue certificates for some peer reviewers, does it mean that they do not have good quality reviews?
