Hey everyone,

I am currently working with genome scale of metabolic netowork on a chlorella vulgaris species. And in heterotrophy the model can assimilate the glucose but not the acetate as a carbon source. So, by changing the constraint, I imposed the intake of the acetate into the system but prediction of the growth rate is equal to 6.94e-05. And when I looked the fluxes going through the atp cytoplasmic, there were no fluxes linked to the biomass reaction. So it means that the biomasse which is ridiculous do not take into account the ATP for the growth rate calculation. How can I impose intake of the ATP into the biomass reaction ?

Or How can I find the specific gap enabling the acetate assimilation ?

I am a bit in a dead end here,

Thank you in advance :-)
