Using the finite element software Comsol multiphysics, I tried to recover the Von Karman oscillatory modes by introducing compressive stress in the X direction for a thin plate in 3D whose thickness is directed into Z, with a slight initial bending Z=-C0*(x0^2-x^2).

I'm using a Linear Elastic Model.

But I could not recover them and I'm wondering why.

In Comsol I used the Solid Mechanics Physics and a Stationnary Solver.

Would you have an idea ?
