What type of fitting do you prefer for HPLC: PEEK or STAINLESS?
Because i haven t pre-column, i am going to use this PEEK Fingertight Fitting instead of stainless
There shouldn't be a problem with polyether either ketone fittings only thing is they should be tightened well which won't allow any leakage.

The fitting you have in the picture is 'stainless steel'. It will fit your column as long as you use a small wrench to tighten the fitting (not finger tightening). We used these before PEEK fittings became available.
