I want to do an experimental design to synthesize some polymeric nanoparticles, so to obtain the best size and zeta potential. I heard about Statgraphics, but am unsure of how to use it. If anyone knows about it or other easy forms of how to achieve my aims, then please let me know.

Although these or similar papers should be read before starting the design, I strongly recommend to try to find someone in your negighborhood who has PRACTICAL experience in DOE. I have studied design of experiments twice in my life and used in once when writing a thesis on one of my specialised engineering courses, nevertheless after not using it for years, I always consult an expert if I have to use it again. It is very important to slect well the vaiarables, the levels, to decide on repeated or non-reperated tests (in the latter case you have to make repetitions at least in one point and you cannot study the quality ofthe model itself), how the number of samples can be reduced etc.

I'm working with PLA, and in some papers that I read, the size is between 300-500 nm and those are the results that I got (even better 190 nm) with my initial experiments.
It is very difficult to optimized the technique i.e nanoparticle preparation using DOE even if you mostly it will not be a successful one that's what i think. But the attempt is good

It is used to calculate statistics, compute data analytics, optimize processes etc.

DESIGN OF experiment is a great option for optimization. you could find my article from publication list on chitosan nanoparticles optimization using doe. I had used design expert software. it is very user friendly and u can download its 30 days trial version for optimization
we have purchased this software at our place.. it is easier than anyother software,I guess
