I recently started using Chimera to perform docking for my research with desaturases of FAs. Before April, I was using the AutoDockVina server to perform all my docking modeling, but after that month, that service was cancelled, and I was forced to download the Vina.exe app for my future dockings, and since then I've had nothing but trouble. I set up my docking as it is presented in the annexed files, I check that everything is correct, I even moved my files to a directory with no blank spaces in the location path, but with no avail. I always get the error message that shows in the images below. I need to know if anyone else gets this error message and how did they solved it.

Could you check and specify the chimera version you're using? I remember there was one update of chimera, which wasn't a stable release, was giving this error. It probably is that.. Just try updating chimera if that helps.
If it a 64-bit system and 64-bit chimera, path with blank space wouldn't be an issue.

we can see u mentioned before directory name c: omit u and look for other error while allocating path for saving complex.
I guess you are facing problems with the path directory. Create a folder and move all your files to it. Copy your vina.exe from your program files directory to this new folder and set this as your "path". Hope this solves your problem.

Afreen Banu I see the u' before de path c:, but I cant find the menu in Chimera to change it. Do you know how?
Tushar Chakraborty I have tried that, moved all the files to one directory in the desktop, but still the same, What usually happens is that I can perform two or three docking normally, and the next one the error pops out.

When you get the Autodock Vina option in Tools, look at the Output file location and Local Path provided in Executable location before clicking Ok or Apply.

That was an error (which doesn't get saved). That's the reason u was not found. My earlier post was to avoid the same.
