Dear all
Im working on cfd simulation of solar stillin my fonal year project but we face a error while simulating it using ansys. I used vof method with three phases (air, water, vapour)
THE ERROR IS
"LATENT HEAT CANNOT BE LESS THAN ZERO "
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??
I changed sse of water to zero and sse of vapour as given in this website
Standard State enthalpy -- CFD Online Discussion Forums (cfd-online.com)
but still same error please help me asap
Did you check the units of the represented latent heat in the software, that could be a reason for an error in your value.
Good day, If you switch the ansys version from 21 to 19, you will achieve the results for this issue; this error is not the consequence of certain physics parameters, is software buge (I checked before and done)
