Hi,
Iam modelling a material using ABAQUS software using UMAT subroutine. But, when i submit the job analysis, it returns back an error which says
abaqus error in job messaging system: error in connection to analysis.
I would like to know the reason for this error and would like to know how to resolve this?
Kindly guide me, since Iam having very big difficulty in overcoming this.

You can look at .msg file in order to understand main reason of the error if it was generated.

Emre Sengul sir, I have tried to identify the error in the .msg file. But the error was not visible in that file. I'am attaching the .msg screenshot for your kind perusal.

Can you share the log file?
It is in the job destination folder.
Veeturi Varun Abaqus creates some files in the job destination folder. You should look at log files especially which have .msg extension. And you may got some clue by looking to error lines in it.
Hassan Khaleghi sir, I could not find the .msg file in the work directory. Instead I have the .dat file which i can share with you.
According to the log file, the job did finish, but the msg-file just seems to stop.
Probably something strange happens in your UMAT, I would suggest adding some test output to it to see how far the routine gets.
Veeturi Varun in .msg file, job ended with "THIS UMAT MAY ONLY BE USED FOR ELEMENTS WITH THREE IRECT STRESS COMPONENTS". This may be a clue for the problem. Could you check the elements considering this expression?
