I desire to work on CNFET. I Intend to use SILVACO TCAD for the simulation but CNT is not a default material in the Library ?

I intend to use Silvaco TCAD for the CNFET simulation but from what i could gather Silvaco does't support CNT by default.

Thus if someone could guide me in this regard if whether i would be able to add CNT as a custom material or not? is there any possibility of that?

If not could you suggest some other Tool or software.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hello Varun,

You can use the CNT material as user-defined material.

The syntax for this is "material material=name EG300=0.0 MUN=(mobility) MUP=(hole Mobility) affinity= user.group=S/C/I user.default=Si/Poly/SiO2".

I used graphene long ago for my master's thesis, and Silvaco Atlas predicted more or less accurate results.
