How do I go about eliminating the offset that arises due to the numerical integration in PSCAD?
For example when the input signal is a Sine wave I get a -Cosine wave + offset as the output. I want to eliminate this offset.
Now I don't know the values of the signal at all times so I cant put a constant initial condition offset value at the start to eliminate it so it has to be a dynamic solution.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try to use back Euler method instead of trapezoidal.
Also check if your integrator does not have a initial state different of zero since this value will not be nulled.
Thanks Ivan. Backwards Euler wasnt available in the list of integration techniques for PSCAD. I ended up using a washout element and it ended up blocking the DC achieving the result I wanted.
