First of all i didnot work with different type workpiece materials for the anode material. But current density will be lower for Low conductive materials and this can cause difficult to control current transition between the anode and the cathode. Therefore short-circuit control can be difficult for higher feed rates. Due to my experiments, different types cathode (tool) materilas (stainless steel, brass and copper) the most damaged cathode material due to short-circuiting was the lowest conductive material...

You Know Electro chemical machining (ECM) is one of nontraditional process which is based on conductive material machining and you can enhance the material conductivity by adding copper to low conductive material as molding because copper good electrical conductivity.
